From Harmony-Montessori
The Board of Trustees is a vital component of our non-profit school, and these dedicated volunteers make a big difference in Harmony's quality, vitality, and sustainability. Legally, a non-profit school like ours belongs to the public. In practice, it is held in trust by this governing Board. Our Board defines and supports the mission of the school, approves and monitors our annual operating budget and tuition levels, assumes a key oversight role in fundraising and fiscal planning, takes a leadership role in the process of long-range planning, and supports the Head in management and policy issues.
